In the year 2056- the not so distant future- an epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Out of the tragedy, a savior emerges: GeneCo, a biotech company that offers organ transplant for a price. Those who miss their payments are scheduled for repossession and hunted by villainous Repo Men. In a world where surgery addicts are hooked on painkilling drugs and murder is sanctioned by law, a sheltered young girl searches for the cure to her own rare disease as well as information about her family’s mysterious history. After being sucked into the haunting world of GeneCo, she is unable to turn back, as all of her questions will be answered at the spectacular event: The Genetic Opera.
It was alright but the title was misleading it isn’t an opera. =(
actually, it’s a rock opera.
i hate paris hilton as much as anyone, but this movie is still worth seeing even if she
DAMMIT ITS A MUSICAL
This had the possibility of being so awesome until they included Paris Hilton.
You couldn’t really expect too much from this film. It’s a stage-musical with the budget the size of, well… A green screen.
I’m all for low-budget and independent cenima, but this film lost it’s flair after the first watch for me.
Rent it if you want a show, own it if you’re into broadway.
I heard this flick was a turkey. Shame Anthony Head is lowering himself to be in stuff featuring the likes of Paris Hilton. Bring back Buffy!

he is a legal assasin… and they don’t give the organs and let people get away with no paying.. if they don’t pay the repo man takes the organ by force.. and I don’t think they would give organs to homeless people.

I deperatley want to see this! Me and my friend are in love with Tony Head, so I’d see anything with him in it, but this also looks fantastic on it’s own.

That would be murder, even in this world of this movie. Plus homeless people tend to not take care of themselves and their organs would be no good. Also what would be the point of giving out organs and then letting people get away with not paying for it?
I wasn’t thrilled the first time I watched this but I did like a few of the songs; after watching it a few more times I’ve grown to love it and I probably watch it on average of once a week
I couldn’t even watch half of this movie. It was very stupid.
